Letterpress Business cards

Printing Method: Letterpress
Paper Stock: 4 ply 100% cotton rag mounting board. The boards are acid-free, Neutral pH and buffered with calcium carbonate.
Inks: Cyan. Soy ink – made from soya beans as opposed to traditional petroleum based inks. Using soy inks on printed material makes it a lot easier to recycle.
Production Time: 5 days
Finishing: Trim to final size and edge painted by hand with soy inks









The Type Bike alias the T-Bike

This was an idea I had 3 years ago and never had time or money to start. Finally after almost a month of work I see my project come to life. Building a bicycle from scratch is a lot of work but fun, I had a little bit of help from the guys at iBike.
I have to say this is the most confortable bike I have ever tried. A little bit on the heavy side but fits perfect and handles great, solid.

Bikes are the best…

I designed this poster last year for our yard sale before moving to Los Angeles. Going through work files last night, I realized it was a good typography exercise and remember people coming to our yard sale saying they have never seen such a cool yard sale poster, and that was the reason for them to go…

However, being careful when typesetting word by word, I did missed the kerning between “D” and “A” in the word Saturday. Probably some other ones, but that caught my attention right away.

I only used Clarendon Bold.

This is how the poster looked in real life, out there on the streets.
